Shannon Langman is a photographer, writer, educator and mezzo-soprano. Shannon is emerging as an established photographer and writer in her ten year career in the city. As a Houston-based arts enthusiast she is passionate about the Houston arts scene in addition to providing a platform for the individual artist in the studio. Her reviews and articles have been published in I Care if You Listen online magazine, Arts+Culture Magazine and CKW LUXE Magazine. Her photography work spans the performing arts world, featured in Classical Singer Magazine and is a public speaker for workshops on Internet Presence and Image. Once an active professional performer and mezzo-soprano, Shannon has traveled across America and Europe with opera companies in outreach and main stage, and as soloist with symphonies including Tri-Cities Opera and The Houston Symphony and is on professional recordings with Albany Records with the Ohio Light Opera Company.
